Summary: Erik lit a match and waited a few seconds to let the sulphur burn away before he carefully held it above the bowl of the pipe and drew the flame down with measured puffs to ignite the tobacco. It began to burn with a soft crackling noise, its special kind of music, and soon he could taste its notes on his tongue.
