Summary: Paul was a good man, with a good heart, and that was part of why Linda loved him. What she did not love, however, was his continued ability to bypass everyone’s flaws in order to see them as decent, loving, individuals. It seemed to her that the worse a person was capable of being, the less likely it was that he was to notice any of their negative traits. John and Denny were both odious people, and Linda was painfully aware of this. They were also adults. She could banish them from their lives with shouting, and rage, and a well placed word or two from her father the lawyer.
