Summary: After Diana throws herself down a staircase on Christmas Eve, it's clear that something needs to be done. When Charles gives Diana the ultimatum of either psychiatric treatment or being under constant supervision, she picks the latter. Annoyed at the fact that she’s being treated like a child, Diana requests the help of her best friend, Sarah Ferguson. Duch’s invitation is evasive, but they're best mates, so she doesn’t question the offer much. She and Duch were close—that’s why Diana follows her around like a lost puppy, and Charles says she can’t be left out of her sight. There are facets of Diana that Sarah knows very little about.
When Andrew arrives injured, Charles hopes to be rid of Sarah. He doesn't expect her to want to care for his brother as he heals. Or the fact that he’s fallen — literally— for that obnoxious redhead.
